It sounds really dubstep in my ears. I find this to have potential but I think it could have had more. At the very ending of the loop you could have continued to develop the sound overtime. A nice bass drop would have been nice to hear. Preferably you got a good ear for music that includes synth alteration or dubstep in general. I'd like you to take time to build a full song at some point like the first one. Loops are a great way to sample things sounds you come across and/ or finding new ways to add to your music abilities. Consider taking time to make a full song. Don't rush, think it and build it. Look over everything you put into it, try to even it out, and finally show people what it sounds like. Keep going!

Nice! Honestly I would give you a better review but I'm kinda lazy. I promise the next song you release I'll give you a critic review.

your previous one had a length of 20 average ng reviews, so it's ok :)

For a first upload it's not bad sounding at all. I just wish it had a cleaner mix but of course mixing and mastering isn't an easy part for anyone. Try to make one more and I'll start scouting you up for the portal.

Aetherous responds:

Really thanks. How long dose it take to get scouted? This is a dream come true.

I'm liking this for sure. I remember when I used to make drums and bass tracks, still do but I'm a bit fascinated with the Chiptune sounds and boards stuff. Going in on this I think this is an amazing yet fantastic track. I haven't heard something like this in a while. The start of the song is exactly how I would have guessed from the beginning. A Subtle start to an uprising track. I do admire the filters in this piece particularly in the more silent chill parts of the song. I was surprised not by the drop since I had foreseen it coming but the part at 1:08 with the switch made using the synths. It somehow shows a dark but passionate melody. It has a nice progression and the BPM is on point. I'm considering this to be one of the best pieces I've listened to in a long while. It brings me back to the era of Newgrounds where music really didn't have a sense of correctness but rather the exchange of different vibes in the flow of the song. It's a beautiful piece and very jaw dropping. Actually makes me want to try something like this again, like some of my old work. Amazing job and hope to hear more from you again soon. Check me out if you'd like some chiptune.

5TanLey responds:

I'm liking this review for sure :) Nice to see someone who actually listens to the song and writes more than 1 line.

and there is nothing like a sence of correctness in music, unless you make some bigroom garbage :D

Hey don't sweat it. It's your first work on here and as you make more and take time to understand your way around the studio you'll progressively get better. This wasn't bad at all for a first time. Only thing was sometimes I had a bit of trouble hearing leads in mid song. Easy fix by toning the drums down a bit but other than that it came out great.

zami responds:

Eh, thanks. ;3;

Yeah I had some little problems with the leads but I just gave up and let it be. xd

I was checking out the AIM album for download and I noticed that you made it just like me. This is a happy joyous time! At the start of this song it's nothing but pure indication of sheer power. From the uprising you got your regular verse come in with the rhythm guitar followed by a shroud of insane madness. This track is heavy and just so enjoyable. I can already picture it now. Gods striking each other in a battle so intense that clashes make wide ripples throughout the ground while angels and demons fight to gain control of the skies both holy and damned where a catastrophic rewrite in history takes fall. It's purely the most enjoyable work you have yet but I'm sure your sticking around for a while so I know that you'll have more breathtaking, high rising, battleborn music coming our way. Amazing track and congrats on being featured in the AIM Contest Album!

larrynachos responds:

Wow, this is a really heartwarming review :D Some of the nicest compliments I've ever received for my music. Thanks for that, Techmo. Also, congrats on the fan favorite!

So you said you want to give up on music?! Alright well remember that your losing here. Now I'm not really someone who likes a lot of todays music (radio specific too) because it's not like the rest of the music I heard back than when Newgrounds was in it's prime. Today music isn't focused much on what you'd think it is. Most of todays genres aren't even close to what we had back in 2005-2011. Want advice? Don't quit yet. For example you got a nice sound on this soundtrack. Take some time to make music. Don't just make music and publish it. This is flooding the Audio Portal. Instead focus on things little by little. If you continue to go about it in small steps your going to get a good sound coming up. Experimenting with sounds is great but spend time to learn all the different plugins. You using FL Studio? Well try Harmor, Harmless, GMS, Sakura, Sytrus, and Poizone if you'd like to get something nice. Don't give up. Besides, this track isn't bad at all.

Spurta responds:

when I say i'm done, i'm usually being sarcastic. unfortunately sarcasm doesn't translate well on the internet.
I mean, thanks for the review and all but I don't actually intend on quitting.
and I don't have a full version of fl so I can't really use all of those

You got the general idea of music just like everyone else. You seem to not care how your songs come out. In your eyes if you like it then so be it. Your not so different from me. I like music and Every, Single, sound, sample, loop, and creation I make is unique in my eyes and it's worth the shot. Now this isn't too bad here. The lead is repetitive and the rhythm is simple which is good. I would however recommend trying for more synths and working on your effects. The rhythm pattern is good here but it needs a little more umph and could use a good bass-line too. The lead is simple but I feel like it could use another secondary lead towards it but regardless for a first loop it's not too bad. Also remember that mixing and mastering are important when going for finishing results but I say that you should experiment a bit more with what your getting here and try to use more different and complex sounds which would make your music pop for sure. Good job!

VIPGamingPassYT responds:

ok. yeah, i understand. thanks for letting me know where i should improve

This one had me going a bit. This wasn't half bad but it still needs work. For this one only the bass parts were a bit too strong and your lead on this one was a bit repetitive but your rhythm was fine. Your mixing and mastering wasn't good either. What program are you using? Let me know and not a bad sound you have here.

Unity-Paradox responds:

Well, since I'm a young producer and don't really have the money to get the more professional programs, the best I can do is LMMS, and it's decent, but it's not up to the modern standard quite yet. I'm aware that my melodies are a bit repetitive, and I'll be working on it in the future, as well as my mixing :)

This wasn't too bad but what I didn't really get most of it is the starting point. You had something going there and it started to vanish when you raised that cutoff towards 0:07. See you seem to have a fair understanding of lead concepts but you'll need work on your rhythms which with enough time and effort will get you places. You work on those rhythms and bass-lines and you could have something really neat. Also since you pretty new try to steer away of effects for the moment like cutoffs and flanges what not. Learn the basics with what you got first and once you have the clear picture start tinkering with effects but try them out with maybe a sample. For example making a loop including a simple lead and rhythm. Then go on with the bass-line and see where you go. Steer away from the loud and deep bass sounds for now and work on those main parts first. Try it out :)

Unity-Paradox responds:

Thanks, I'll make certain to try a more progressive development style :D I do get quite a bit ahead of myself sometimes XD
