So this is an experimental piece and it's not terrible but I feel like it does need a lot of work done to it before it become something. That's the beauty of experimental work, it's a work in progress and this could do with more. For starters there was a blank 1-2 seconds of no sound at the beginning. This could have been better utilized by adjustments to the volume to give it some sort of rising to the climax effect. I liked most of the beginning but it didn't give off much of a climax. It felt blend to listen to and sounded generic when I listen to it. Reaching 0:54 I had given a little hope for when vocals hit and expected a different climax instead. Even so it still felt off. Throughout there seemed to be a bit of background noise and that didn't quite ring in my ears tbh. I think if you added a bit more structure and some melody it could have been good for something orchestral or cinematic. For this I'm gonna have to give you a 4.5/5

Tips: Try to incorporate more instruments into this with some soft drum parts after 0:54 which could help. A bit of choir would have made this better than what it is right now.

Now that's what I call feedback, thanks and yeah I agree with every post.

Always with the nice smooth beats. Your work in D&B amazes me and it's so relaxing. I get a lot of liquid in there and that is enough to bring me in. Let me tell you though I have never ever stopped listening to your music. I know I don't rate a lot of my favorite artists but I hope I can do this more often. I hope you join this years A.I.M. Contest, I really need some of that good vibe you release! Keep it up 5tanley!!!

hey, many thanks, I'll probably make something for AIM :)

Let's cut straight to the main points. I love a lot of different type of music, some of which fall into the chiptune and video game genre. Now at first I'm just surfing the audio portal to listen to some new stuff and then I come across this. You've grabbed my attention right when the song started playing. In the start it has this really nice uprising lead that fits so well within the background. Getting to around 0:55 where the beat drops I felt like there wasn't enough tension to the song. I felt like the drop could have continued with more bass into it or rather a more realistic kick and snare. Then the song repeats a bit like the first rhythm which is fine. Now I don't hate it, no not at all but I think that the main parts could have had a bit more variety in that matter. Nonetheless I liked it and in the end that's all that matters. Great work and I hope you continue making music.

Thanks, I appreciate your constructive feedback.
Will try to implement your suggestions in future tracks

That's what Mr.KoolTrix is about, bringing that good vibe into play. I'm a big fan of EDM music especially if it leans towards house or glitch hop. This brought me back to thinking what if Daft Punk and TheFatRat had a baby...hmmm it turns out it would be you. Amazing soundtrack and lots of happy highs everywhere. Made my high *** jump up and ******* dance my *** off!!! XD I've loved your work since the day I started following you. Your music has people like myself just itching to get up and dance to this. Can't wait for your next song!!! Thumbs from the Other Side!!!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll be releasing much more in the future. :)

I love the old days where D&B and Techno/Trance would just bring out that good vibe feel. This brought those vibes back. It has such a peaceful rhythm and a piece of mind. The visualization in my head is so chilling, you have the background pattern acting a an influence to the treble part of the song which then mellows out that dark feel even though it's still there. It's like imagining yourself to close your eyes and think of something that would just synchronize with this song. Each beat triggering a different set of notes. This puts in a portal of pure good vibes and structures. I love a lot of your work 5StanLey. Much love from the other side :D <3

thanks for the kind words! Haven't seen you around in a while :)

I love this! I was listening to it two different ways; With my eyes and my ears! I could hear the sweet originality of the 8-Bit composition. It had a catchy theme to it. It reminded me a little bit of the 20's and 40's but I also visualized what it would be like if it was introduced to Electronic music. Hey if I get done building my computer I want to try and compose an EDM of this piece! :D This is awesome haha XD Love it! Keep it up ZnT

Zechnition responds:

Thanks for your thoughts! Listening to it again I can sort of hear that older style, though I guess wasn't really by design. I'd love to hear someone else's take on my piece, hope you're finished building your computer soon!

OMG this is so groovy but enjoyable. I'm loving it! Way to go Chrono :D

ChronoNomad responds:

Hey, thanks for the groovy review, Techmo-X! You're one cool cat. So glad you dig the musical vibes, and I hope that life's been treating you well. :)

While I enjoy house music this isn't it. This is more industrial or at least experimental. The hard kick is too loud and the sense of melody and harmony isn't there. This isn't quite music but it's a first step. Your mostly into EDM music as I've heard your other tracks which is most likely to fall under: trance, psytrance, hard trance, jumpstyle, hardstyle, etc. You will want to improve on creating a clear background for your music with some noise reduction. You'll also want to mix and master a lot of your work otherwise your going to get high's and lows in places you wouldn't expect. Advice is to load your own samples or make them. If your using the standard FL version you'll have a limited amount of use for many of the plugins. If your using signature or Producer edition you'll want to use full extent of your plugins and VST. These are more like samples or WIP in my opinion. Try playing around with plugins and effects. Every plugin has a different use for it while every effect has it's uses. Take time to make stuff and don't rush. You seem like you have something going on for you but if you want to make some good stuff you'll want to take time using it. If your using a trial or demo version of FL you'll want to get the full version. Also use FPC for your drums in my advice. It's helped me load and save many samples. I wish you good luck in your future work. I'm sorry that you did not like my drums for one of my songs but remember that even a song with good appraise is a song that needs more work. Good luck!

alazyname responds:

ok thank

I love your stuff it's very good material. I think I would like to see more of your Popushi stuff though. I loved your PRINCUSS soundtrack it had so much variety and liveliness to it that it made my day whenever I heard it over and over again. I had no complaints about any of your work. Till this day that song still gets me on a better mood and it does somehow cure my depression slightly and it really does give me a sense of motivation as well. But this pice is nice too. Reminds me of some of the future bass stuff you find on youtube on channels that specify this kind of work. I think you should submit some of your work to Kito Music or other relatable channels. You have real talent. Loving the vibe at 1:17. It's very nice and light but somehow lifts you off your feet too. And that uprising on the second part of that verse to the main drop is just amazing. I had chills. Your Soundcloud work is impressive too. Keep it up MidiMachine! <3

これは良いこと!

This is the first time I'm hearing your podcasts and I loved listening to the whole thing. Your voice is also very relaxing. Should listen to more of them.

ChronoNomad responds:

Please do! I've been making these podcasts since the Auditions, and while it still feels kind of new, I think I'm getting into a solid groove. I also sing, but admittedly most of my vocal tracks on here are collaborations, with a few exceptions like "One of Those Days" from back in 2015.

Thanks for listening, and I really appreciate the quick review! Not the first time someone has said my voice was relaxing. I tend to enjoy reading out loud, but the caveat is that it tends to lull folks to sleep. Good for bedtime, but not so much at other times of the day.
