Teckmo-X's News

Posted by Teckmo-X - September 18th, 2018

Guys what is happening!? Well there isn't much news to write about but there is another urgent and important post. For those of you who develop music yourselves with beat making software will know the pain of using a cracked version of that program only to find out that YOU MIGHT have just deleted the only folder with the cracked version of FL Studio Producers Edition. Turns out......(takes deep breath)......(exhales)......It's GONE!!!!

I was cleaning my USB drives because I need it more space and other things So I might have deleated a version of FL Studio 11 Cracked. It wouldn't be a big deal since I mean I have Version 12 but Version 11 had a full on cracked program with all the plugins including aditional VST's which are helpful in my case. That's when I found out about this and looked no further but to come here and ask a very important question;

CAN ANYONE SPARE AN FL STUDIO CRACKED DOWNLOAD OR BORROW A KEY!?!?!?!

Yeah I know it seems skecthy coming from me but I really need it. FL Studio is what made me start making my own songs. Without FL Studio I can't deliver a new line of audio. So please for anyone out there who could help me out, if you own a cracked or legit copy of FL Studio producers or unlocked can we work something out so I can redownload it. We can come out with some deal or if oyur feeling generous enough to just help up. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it big time!!!!

So it's been a while now and I've been working with a group about game designing and a possible game we might publish within the next year or so. Problem is now my comouter is dead and won't work. Tried switching up parts for it but it wont work at all anymore. I think the processor died on me and can't really do anything about it besides sell the parts and build a new one. Gonna have to start from scratch but should be fun. I hear the new Ryzen 2nd generation processors are doing really good in the industry so I might as well go for something along the lines of a Ryzen 5 and make things nice. I've done some research and decide to build one out of the list below;

  • AMD Ryzen 5 1500x 3.5Ghz
  • Patriot Viper Elite DDR4 (2x4Gb) 2600MHz
  • ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Dual-Fan OC Edition
  • MSI B350 Tomahawk Arctic Motherboard
  • Seagate FireCuda 1TB SSHD
  • Corsair Carbide 275R Mid-Tower Gaming Case
  • Corsair CXM Series 550 Watt 80+ Bronze Modular PSU
  • EagleTec Gaming Mechanical Keyboard LED Backlit KG011
  • Ajazz Watcher RGB Gamin Mouse w/ 7 DPI settings
  • Aigo Halo LED 120mm 12cm Case Cooling Fans (2 pack) Neon Blue

The outlook would be white but the rest would blend in with the LED coloring of the Neon Blue lighting. Cooling option has been left out as well as the OS I'll be using because I have not decided yet on my part which would be better in terms of cooling. I haven't come to a decision of whether I'll go AIO or decide to use regular fan cooling but for now the Wraith Cooler that comes with the Ryzen processor should hold up nicely for that time being. I also haven't made a final decision on the GPU since right now I'm looking to do more productivity rather than gaming so we will have to see what happens later on and how much of a budget I'll have.

I will NOT be using an Intel based processor since I haven't seen some good uses for the multi-core side of things. The 8th Gen Intel processors have power but it lacks the ability to perform more complex tasks like rendering and development user software needs. for now Just enjoy the music I have to offer until I have things back and running.

Comment your Halloween costume idea for this upcoming October. I would love to know what you all have planned. It'll ease up my mind with the loss of my magnificant system.

P.S. I'm actually using a Macbook right now and it's hurting my heart X.X

She disappeared from the portal. No one knew where she was. Things seemed lost. Out of the shadows came a bright burning warrior with a mighty sw....You know what this might take too long hehehe

HELLO EVERYONE!!!

Techmo-X is Back!

Yeah I know I've been gone for a long time now and it's just been a rough road up ahead. Luckily I've stumbled into a clear path and found my way back into the Portal. So I know things seem a little slow right now but I'm looking to make some changes here.

As you all know I make music and usually I surprise everyone :D

.

.

.

Surprise!!!

....Okay maybe I need to try a different approach next time.

Let's get to the main event then...

5281373_152188070881_2357c11ff346a8a.jpg

  • First order of business: Music. It's what I do and it can be tough to make it. Free time is scarce and so is plugins....food too. I've just got back into things so it'll be slow for the next month or until the A.I.M. Contest which I am looking forward to. I hope everyone is still around for more music.
  • I'm looking forward to doing something new and will be P.M. @RealFaction and @ChronoNomad for advice on holding stuff like sweepstakes/giveaways. After all I have been gone for a long time so things could have changed by now. I was gonna do it last year but things got busy so hopefully I can hold them here on Newgrounds or maybe on my still unfinished website which I don't know why I haven't done it yet. Details on it will be limited until I can get a hold of either of them for more information. If I get a green light we could be seeing some nice rewards coming in.
  • I always said I'd give time from my week to look at new content from my followers and even the people I follow. Dedicating time to look at your submissions and review them. This could also be good for me since I've been gone for such a long time. I wan't to interect more with Newgrounders and make new alliances. I also want to try and participate in more contests and events held here at Newgrounds starting with the A.I.M. Contest.

As a side note: I will be trying to contact @ErrorCell to see for collaboration options like last time. Things were undefined and kinda fuzzy but I've been a fan of his work since 2 years ago and he's got the right atmosphere I need for my music. Hopefully I can reach him again if not then it was a tough try. Furthermore I will be accepting requests sometime nearing the end of July for a possible Youtube channel. I want to dedicate a channel for artists here on Newgrounds and share their submissions with everyone. This could become big if my game development team has time to create content for it. Who knows, maybe some of you might get a good first impression and some publicity.

Like I said things will be slow and will take time to pick up but working on the side I could make some good progress. My team owes me anyways for the development of their RPG were making.

Stick around for further news on what's happening.

Anyways check out this awesome track by @midimachine :

I've been having a few problems with myself that need to be dealed with nust I just need time to do so. After the NGADM drop right before the quarter finals I had time to myself and became distant. I didn't care about anything else not even music. I tried to come up with new material but it all didn't seem right. I put my laptop away and walked away. I fell into an abyss of pure dark depression that not even I myself can describe but the feeling was as ever the same, always contemplating my next move. It was hard and till this day it still eats me alive slowly. I've found myself not wanting anything else but to just sit in the shroud of darkness that would block my life. I sat there with my arms crossed, my legs tucked, and my head down. Not a whisper, not a sound.... I eventually had to look up and there I found the stars. Staring at each one glittering up high. I hadn't recall a thing about it but I knoew that it was miles from me. I remembered that stars arent too far from where I stood. I could still reach up and touch the sky if I wanted to. I picked myself up and began doing what I do most, make music. I tried and tried and tried but nothing came to mind, nothing happy like my usual work. That's when I chose a different path. I've been working on cinematic music for sometime after the inspiration of Nier: Automata's Original Sound Track. Every song had some sort of feeling to it. But The influence, the motivation came from a long time favorite group " E.S. Posthumus". Music that had a rather ancient tonality. Needless to say I am back with new content but it will take a while. As an advance warning: All the work I release up until November will be a collaboration for a video game in the works therefore downloads will not be permitted and nor will embeds. Please understand that more music will come but first I must get myself together. I hope I have the support from my fellow Newgrounders to continue on with the music making process.

Well I thought it was gonna be cut short to me not winning as I thought it wasn't a track that was gonna make me pass but in the end I succeded. I would like to thank @ChronoNomad for the extra hour which really did help me with finalizing my work.

A shame though that @jimmypig couldn't move to the next round. I was honestly scared to be honest because he's really good at what he does. You all should check him out sometime. Here's a track made by @jimmypig and it's the best;

http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/757704

Other than that I think you should also check out some of @LunacyEcho work too. He was a good match up as well. Here's a track from him;

Well the round up is coming up and I've got a lot of work to do especially now that I'm up against some seriously competition once again. All again wishing the best of luck to everyone still competeing in the NGADM Contest! And a good luck to my competition @steelside you can check some of his work out too in fact here's one of my favorites;

So I just found out that I made it into the 2nd round of this years Deathmatch contest and I'm now amongst the 64 other artists who will compete for 1st place this year. I realize we have some really good artists on here which also not only are good but also inspired me a lot on making music like @F-777 and @5tanley who I have huge respect for and I wish them the best of luck as well for this years contest. Though I am excited about having passed the auditions I am now nervous about the 2nd round. I still don't know what to do but I have to figure something out. I have to give it my all in any way I can. I hope I got something by deadline. This could really be an opportunity for me and I can't just throw it all away. Wish me luck everyone!

So I've noticed it's been a while I've posted something new on here. I've been busy with work and college so finding time can be difficult but fear not my lovelies, I will be back in June with more tracks and this time were going to bring the beat down a bit focusing on mostly;

-Chillstep

-Trapstep-

-Glitch Hop

-Synthwave

These will be the experimenting genre's for the next 6 months of 2017 and will try to bring back a bit of the retro stuff when I hit Chillstep and Synthwave.

Hope to see you all around June again!

Yeah I know what all of you are going to say. "Make more music", "Where's the tunes", "Are you a girl"?

Yes, yes, and well yes. I'm gonna start making music again and of course working on it but I'm focusing again on the Art Inspired Music Contest. Last time I made it to the album which was pretty good but this year I've been brushing up on new genres to make. Psytrance, Chillstep, and House music are the 3 music genres I hope to focus on this upcoming summer. I have already had experience making original trance melodies so psytrance shouldn't be hard. Hope I make it runner up this time at the very least.

In other news, I had already shown my new computer but now it's time to create the workstation for it. These 2 weeks I'm gonna be building the whole entire workstation setup for everything. This will be my control center, my Death Star, my Gundam Suit, my Transformer. I'll have a new song up this weekend for a chillstep test.

So last time I mentioned that I was building a new computer for the sake of rebirth and replenish ANNNnnnddd to finish up my music. Apparently I ended up spending a little more cash than I thought my budget went for. Had everything but had to wait for the cooling system, HDD, and the Thermal paste needed to apply on the CPU. I did have some troubleshoot runs where my motherboard wasn't excepting my Windows 8 key code but in the end triumph came and Windows 8.1 got me the update I needed to activate my OS. Now, with everything built and set up for gaming, streaming, video editing, and music I had one final thing; to transfer my FL Studio folders and files. Unfortunately bad news came in the most unexpected way. After trying to transfer All of my files to my new Seagate 1TB HDD the files got corrupted. What does this mean? Simply put; I lost FL Studio 11...

Hold up! I thought that I could instead just bring the HDD from my old computer to the new one but turns out it's denied its way into the system. It shows the HDD ready and synced BUT it can not register because Windows 8.1 is already installed on the other HDD and I can't have two different OS running on the same computer. So lately I've been having to wait for my friend to bring his copy of FL Studio 11 to run and install back up on the new rig. Other than that this PC rocks!

5281373_148980112022_222106.jpg

First off this image wasn't doing what it's supposed to do which is flip it to the right but I quess Newgrounds knows best. Second off this is the first PC I've ever got to building and it was one hell of a trip. $600 and it runs like a V12 engine. So for interests and the curious mind heres what it's running on;

  • AMD FX-8350 Octa-Core Black Edition
  • MSI 970 Gaming Aura Motherboard w/ Audio Boost II and Killer 2200 Networking, SLI compatible
  • Kingston HyperX Fury (2x4Gb) DDR4 * Upgrading Soon*
  • Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 ITX Mini 3Gb VRAM w/ VR Ready
  • Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD 7200RPM at 6Gbs ( Upgraded to 10Gbs)
  • Antec Supercharged 650w Liquid Cooling System
  • Thermaltake 600W Bronze 80+ Power Supply ( Also Upgrading )
  • 5 120mm Fans ( 2 Thermaltakes + 2 Corsair LED Purple + Liquid Cooling Antec Fan )

Of course the fun doesn't stop there. I'm going to upgrade with the following later on;

  • Kingston HyperX Fury (2x4Gb) DDR4 = 16Gb
  • Thermaltake Triple Fan Radiator for Liquid Cooling Upgrade
  • Thermaltake 700W RGB Power Supply
  • Samsung 250Gb Solid State Drive
  • Seagate Barracuda 5TB HDD 7200RPM
  • Thermaltake 120mm RGB Fans Triple Pack

Now this is all too much of course but It's what gonna allow me to crank this puppy all the way to 5.0Ghz of CPU power. Might have to stablize a safe way to conduct Liquid Nitrogen into the bay of the motherboard and some CPU coverage to skyrocket to 6.3 Ghz Overclocked but that will have to wait. Other than that let's go for the better news.

The new improved webpage for my music has already been made and is still under development to give the community a better experience. Check it out at  https://misakokatsumi635.wixsite.com/retroevolution

As for the music part I should still be able to make music since I still have my recovery HDD from my old computer so I'll just have to use that one for the time being but in all good hands should be able to make it in time for the Art Inspired Music Contest and for this time around I'm going to have to go with an artist who's work I've loved for many years now. @ErrorCell is an amazing artist bringing a series of time bending art with a background story to it. Check him out for some of the latest work hes done, it's pretty cool.

So guys that's it for news. More stuff will come around as soon as I fix this FL corrupt files. Check out some of my latest uploads and I'll see you real soon.
